The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) approved Emergency Use Authorization for Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine for use in children 5-11 years old on November 2, 2021. The WI Department of Public Instruction (DPI) is currently taking the steps needed before this use of the vaccine is allowed in Wisconsin.
